This is a Department 56 Dickens' Village "Mr. & Mrs. Pickle" or "The Old Curiosity Shop" lighted porcelain building.
"Mr. & Mrs. Pickle" are part of the Portobello Road Thatched Cottages set of 3 buildings. This 2-story Tudor style residence with dark brown thatched roof is where Mr. & Mrs. Pickle are the proprietors of an attached antiques store.
Released in 1994 -- RETIRED in 1997.
This house/building is in excellent condition in the original box. No chips, cracks, or indication of misuse or abuse. The original flimsy cardboard sleeve and Styrofoam may have some wear, but the piece(s) looks as good as the day purchased.
