The partial label on the bottle indicates it once contained an extract for a "FOAM SOLUTION" and was sold at "Fort JONES DRUG STORE" in far northern California. J. Hungerford Smith was a pharmacist who began manufacturing his own popular soda fountain syrups in the late 1800s in Rochester, NY.
